Since appearing on the series, Spears has continued her acting career with roles in Sweet Magnolias and various other projects. The show was a hit on Nickelodeon but was suddenly cancelled in 2008 after four seasons and three years on air. The original series followed the adventures of Zoey, a student attending the former all-boys school Pacific Coast Academy after it opened up enrollment to girls. 'IT'S OFFICIAL! Spears first announced a sequel was in the works back in January and shortly thereafter production got underway in North Carolina.
